Welcome

The University of Virginia is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for its faculty, staff, employees, students, patients, and visitors. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal mandate requiring all institutions of higher education that participate in the federal student financial aid program to disclose information about crime on their campuses and in their surrounding communities. The spirit of the Clery Act is direct: knowledge is power.  The Clery Act requires the University to report specified crime statistics on and near the Grounds and to provide other safety and crime information to the campus community. MORE
